Schools Impacted by New School Openings

The CBE has undertaken an extensive engagement process to understand what is important to students, parents, staff and community members as we make changes to the use of learning space in some CBE schools in Areas I, II and V. This process has included:

  • January – February 2016: Discussions with principals in all five CBE Areas to identify possibilities for the use of space
  • April  - May 2016: Community open houses and an online survey to gather feedback on possibilities identified by principals
  • October – December 2016: Gather feedback on possible scenarios for the use of learning space. Review survey results and session notes.

Throughout this process, we have been guided by the CBE values and our planning principles.
