Unique Pathways & Off-campus Education
Dual Credit – Esports Management & Media
Looking to turn your passion into a career? Unique Pathways and Bow Valley College is offering an exciting opportunity for students to explore the behind-the-scenes components of the eSports industry through a dynamic dual credit program connected to the Esports Business Management diploma.
Students will learn the difference between gaming and esports, discuss esports culture and dive into the business side of this growing industry in Introduction to Esports (ESPR1101). They will also learn the fundamentals of the Esports world, including the history, structure, and key players within the industry. In the second course, Production and Broadcasting in Esports (ESPR2101), students will develop skills in the technical and creative aspects of live event production, streaming, and broadcasting – much of which will take place in Bow Valley College’s Esports Arena, the first in Calgary!
