- Record enrolment growth is putting pressure on our system. This has caused the number of schools in
overflow status to rise. As of the end of September 2023, 25 schools had an overflow plan in place. This represents 10 per cent of all CBE schools. By comparison, at the end of the 2022-23 school year, 21 schools had an overflow plan in place, while only 12 schools had an overflow plan in place at the end of the 2021-22 school year.
