Aiyanna Leonard La Couvée (left) and her sister, Kaiya, are collecting 1,200 pairs of shoes to represent the number of missing and murdered indigenous women across Canada.
Kaiya Leonard La Couvée, an Ernest Manning High School student, and her sister have launched the Footprints Project to raise awareness of missing and murdered indigenous women and girls. Read the metro story here:
