New Board of Trustees Sworn in Oct. 31

​The Calgary Board of Education (CBE) is pleased to introduce our newly elected Board of Trustees.

The CBE welcomes five returning trustees:

  • Wards 3 & 4 - Laura Hack
  • Wards 6 & 7 - Patricia Bolger
  • Wards 8 & 9 - Susan Vukadinovic
  • Wards 11 & 13 - Nancy Close
  • Wards 12 & 14 - Charlene May

We also welcome two new trustees:

  • Wards 1 & 2 - Jenny Regal
  • Wards 5 & 10 - Cynthia Cordova

The Trustees were sworn in by the Honourable Associate Chief Justice D. Blair Nixon of the Court of King's Bench of Alberta. 

The CBE thanks outgoing Trustee Marilyn Dennis.

The Board also held its organizational meeting on Oct. 31. Trustee Laura Hack was elected Board Chair and Trustee Nancy Close was acclaimed as Vice-Chair.

The Board held its first public meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 4 at 11 AM​
