Due to construction delays affected by many factors such as adverse weather and supply chain challenges, Lakeshore School will not be ready to welcome students on Sept.1. We are working closely with Alberta Infrastructure and will continue to support the construction process to ensure the school is complete and opened as soon as possible. Registration Information
Registration for all CBE schools and programs for the 2022-23 school year starts Jan. 17, 2022.
The new middle school in Lakeshore School will offer Grade 5-9 programming in 2022-23 and Grade 6-9 programming in 2023-24. Grade 5-8 students currently attending Nickle School and Grade 4-8 students currently attending Sherwood School, who live in Auburn Bay or Mahogany, will be re-designated to Lakeshore School starting September 2022. If you have any questions on designations or registration, please view the
Designation Map (page 2) or contact your current school,
Nickle School or
Sherwood School.
If your child is currently attending a CBE alternative program or an out-of-attendance area school and you wish for them to be registered for Lakeshore School, please review
CBE’s transfer process and submit a
transfer request form.
