SchoolEngage - Register a New Student​​

What You Will Need Before Starting

  • student identification that includes age, legal name and citizenship;
  • proof of address;
  • selfie with the government issued photo identification; and

  • where the parents of the child do not live together, documentation that confirms guardianship.

Note | attaching required documents may expedite processing of the registration form.

Step 1: Sign in to SchoolEngage

Already have a MyCBE Account

If you already have an account with CBE, you will access the online forms through MyCBE. Sign in to your MyCBE account then click on the SchoolEngage button. If not sign in to SchoolEngage.

New to CBE

Legal guardians / independent students new to CBE will need to create an account directly in SchoolEngage. For help, visit SchoolEngage – Create an Account. ​

Step 2: Add a Student

Step 3: Select a Form​​



    1. ​​To f​ind a registration form, click on Students and select the student’s name.
    2. The registration forms will display in the Forms section.
      • For children entering Kindergarten, choose “Child Registration Form - Early Childhood Services (Kindergarten)”.
      • For students entering Grade 1 to Grade 12, choose “Student Registration Form - Gr. 1-12”.
    3. Click on New to create a form.

Conditions

Registration at The Calgary Board of Education (CBE) schools is not determined on a first come, first served basis. Registration and admission to schools in CBE are governed by the Education Act and Administrative Regulation 6090 | Child and Student Registration and Admission.
