Board Ratifies Agreement with CBE Construction and Maintenance Skilled Trades Unions

​​​On April 8, 2025, the Calgary Board of Education Board of Trustees ratified a collective agreement with the Bargaining Council of the CBE Construction and Maintenance Skilled Trades Unions following ratification by members on April 2.  

This new four-year collective agreement expires on Aug. 31, 2028.  

Approximately 100 CBE employees are covered under the new agreement, encompassing roles such as electricians, plumbers, carpenters, painters and other skilled trades. ​​
