November 2016
Mechanical work in Boiler and Mechanical Room complete. Sprinkler installation complete. East and west canopies being installed. Progress on site continues to be labored and difficult. The Contractor’s schedule is being closely monitored. The project is expected to be completed and ready for occupancy by December 2016.

Project Background
- August 2014 – Development Permit submitted to the City of Calgary
- January 2014 - The Calgary Board of Education received approval from the Province of Alberta for major modernization projects.
- Modernization of Harold W. Riley School was announced January 21, 2014.
- 2010 – the Aboriginal Learning Centre was identified as a priority for modernization on the CBE Three-Year Capital Plan.
