Immunizations
The CBE supports the Alberta Health Services’ school-based program as an opportunity for families to have eligible children receive routine immunizations.
Immunizations are not given in school without consent from a parent or legal guardian. Schools will send home an AHS consent form along with an information sheet for each vaccine recommended for the student.
We encourage families to speak to their health care provider or AHS by calling 811 if they have questions, concerns or need more information about immunizations for their children.
The CBE does not require vaccinations or proof of immunizations to attend school
