Bringing the Classroom to the Community

Campus Calgary Open Minds offers students hands-on learning that occurs beyond the four walls of a school.  These one-week programs connect students to experts and gives them real-life experiences.

This program gives students a clearer idea of the role they play in the world around them and helps foster attitudes and understandings of cultural awareness, civic pride, community responsibility and stewardship.

Once back in the classroom, students apply their understanding beyond their local setting to national and global communities.

Annual contributions to this program from community and education is in excess of $1.4 million.
