Unique Pathways & Off-campus Education
How to Setup a Personal Learning Schedule
Due to the level of commitment required for a Dual Credit program, all students applying for an in-person OR online Dual Credit program must submit a Personal Learning Schedule (PLS). Students applying for Exploratory programs do not need to submit a PLS at this time.
This document ensures students have thought about how they will fit their course/program into their regular lives.
Students should consider courses they are taking at their home high school, as well as extra-curricular activities and part-time employment. It should outline their realistic plan to complete work for their dual credit course/program.
All courses/programs have a different expectation around study/independent learning. Students will be expected to meet the academic rigor and deadlines of their post-secondary studies. Check with your Off-campus Coordinator if you are unsure how much time you should be allotting to dual credit work.
