High School Grades 10-12 | Modernization
Expected Completion Date | Fall 2018
Modernization Update
Oct. 2018
We had a great start to the 2018-19 school year the with opening of some of our modernized Career and Technology Studies learning spaces, which were completed in August and early September.
As part of phase two the Cosmetology, Domestic Foods, Fashion, Robotics and PLP spaces were updated and improved. These new spaces are incredible and provide our students with the most up-to-date equipment for learning. The construction also included the washrooms adjacent to the cafeteria, the installation of a new elevator that is now complete and a stairwell lift that should be completed by the end of this month. The modernization is in its final stages and will wrap up very soon.
Chinook Learning has moved into JFHS and everyone involved is working together to ensure all students feel welcome and are able to succeed.
