As part of our commitment to sharing information in a timely manner, we wanted to notify you about the start and end-of-day bell times for the coming school year.
Auburn Bay 2nd Elementary School times are:

Daily start time is 8:00 AM

End time Monday – Thursday is 2:30 PM

End time Friday is 12:00 PM
Other key information such as recess and lunchtimes as well as start and end times for Kindergarten will come your way as soon as it is available. We are in the process of working with CBE to arrange for an out-of-school care provider on site. Information about registration for this service will be shared with parents as soon as we are able, most likely in late spring.

In November, we shared our plan for adjusted boundaries and designations for the communities of Auburn Bay, Seton and Mahogany due to the possibility of three new schools opening in Auburn Bay and Mahogany in September 2022. The new elementary school in Auburn Bay (temporary name: Auburn Bay ES 2) will offer kindergarten to Grade 4 programming in 2022-23 and expand to include Grade 5 in 2023-24. K-3 students currently attending Auburn Bay School or Andrew Sibbald School, who live within the designated attendance area of Auburn Bay ES 2, will be re-designated to Auburn Bay ES 2 starting September 2022. If your child is currently attending a CBE alternative program or an out-of-attendance area school and you wish for them to be registered for
Bayside School, please review
CBE’s transfer process and submit a
