Summer School CALM (LP3)

CALM (LP3)

​Career and Life Management (CALM) helps you develop your ability to make well-informed decisions and choices that contribute to the well-being and respect of yourself and others.​ CALM (LP3)* is intended for students who need additional English language supports – please note that students must have a Language Proficiency level of LP3.  Students with a level of LP1 or LP2 should not take this course.​

*For more information about Language Proficiency 3 (LP3), talk to your current high school counsellor.

  • Registration

    Registration details will be provided by your current high school counsellor or junior high school administrator in April 2025. Families will be notified by email the week of June 2 - 6, 2025 as to whether or not they have been enrolled.​ Students may register for a maximum of one course for Summer School. ​

    Due to limited space and resources only the following students are permitted to register with the CBE for Summer School 2025:

    • Current CBE students in Grades 10 - 12
    • ​Current CBE students in Grade 9 can only register in Mathematics 15

    We have no capacity to register non-CBE students. Please go to Alberta Online Learning for online summer school options.
