​​Chinook Learning Services is the Calgary Board of Education's provider of High School Upgrading, non-credit Continuing Education (professional development, personal development & corporate training), Summer School for Grades 10-12, and Off-Campus (work experience) programs.​​

High School Upgrading

Chinook Learning Services is the Calgary Board of Education's provider of in-person High School Upgrading and completion.​ Students of all ages come to Chinook to:

• Complete a high school diploma.
  
• Increase competitive average and / or deepen curricular understanding as a bridge to post-secondary.
• Upgrade to a higher academic stream.
  
• Learn in an inclusive, adult environment.

Chinook offers morning, afternoon and evening classes, multiple intakes, and supports individual needs to allow students flexibility in achieving their goals.​

​Applications for High School Upgrading are accepted only twice a year, during the fall and winter semesters. We do not process applications at any other times. Students who are still eligible to attend their home high school cannot register with Chinook Learning Services for the fall or winter semesters.

Continuing Education

Chinook has been a trusted name in Continuing Education for years, and now it's more relevant than ever. Our in-person Professional Development courses and Online Learning programs are designed to fit your busy lifestyle, whether you're looking to advance your career or explore new interests. Corporate Training is also available.​
