CBE Students Present Garden Poppies and Songs to Veterans

CALGARY — Students from Dr. J.K. Mulloy School have carefully grown Flanders Fields poppies and will present them to Colonel Belcher Carewest residents in honour of Remembrance Day.
100 students from the school’s choir will also perform WWII-era music for the residents.
Students worked with City of Calgary Gardeners to plant, care for and grow the poppies, which will be presented to Calgary Legion locations later in the day.
