CBe-learn Survey Results Summary

Apr. 07, 2021

Thank you very much to CBE families for providing 14,600 responses to our CBe-learn survey. In March, we asked parents/guardians whether they were planning to request a transfer for their child(ren) to attend CBe-learn for next school year (2021-22) to learn online full-time.

The survey responses do NOT determine where the students will attend school. However, the results are already helping CBE to gauge interest levels and plan for the year ahead.

If a student is interested in transferring to CBe-learn for next year, the parent/guardian must submit a transfer request by Friday, April 23, 2021.

As indicated in the first chart below, of the 14,607 responses to the survey:

  • 87 per cent plan to learn in-person at school next year
  • 5 per cent plan to transfer to CBe-learn for full-time online learning next year
  • 7 per cent are undecided
  • 1 per cent plan to leave CBE

The survey did not include the parents/guardians of students who are already currently full-time students at CBe-learn. These students are automatically enrolled in CBe-learn again next year, unless they choose to transfer.
