Media Advisory | Celebrate the First Day of School with the CBE

​CALGARY — It’s back to school for the Calgary Board of Education as we welcome students for the first day of classes on Thursday, Aug. 31, 2023.​​

Media are invited to share the excitement of the first day with a photo and interview opportunity at Chinook Park School. The kindergarten to Grade 6 school in southwest Calgary offers both the regular program and early French immersion.

Principal Guillaume Comeau, parents and students will be available for interviews outside of the building before their school day starts at 8 a.m.
