Opera Singer Alumnus Returns to Visit Western Canada High School

CALGARY — Students at Western Canada High School have a unique opportunity to meet accomplished opera singer Daniel Okulitch.
Mr. Okulitch is in Calgary performing the role of Dr. Beck Weathers in Calgary Opera’s production of Everest. His international career includes performances at the Met and Carnegie Hall. He is also a Western Canada High School alumnus.
He will be meeting with the Leadership in the Arts class to speak about his career and experiences.
The media are invited to attend the event. Mr. Okulitch and students will be available for interviews and photos.
Date: Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2019
Time: 12 - 1 p.m.
