CALGARY — Over 1,000 middle and junior high school student leaders and their teachers from nearly 40 schools will be inspired to action at the eleventh annual My World Conference on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2019.
This event is a unique opportunity that allows students the opportunity to come together to celebrate leadership and learn from local, national and international organizers and activists. The theme for this year’s conference is “sustainABILITY”.
Student leaders will hear from and engage with presenters speaking about local and global social justice issues, including: Derek Juno, Simon Jackson, Alvin Law, Elder Saa’kokoto (Randy Bottle), Dr. David Manz, Graham Mossiman, Adam Campbell and more.
