CALGARY — Students at Sir John A. MacDonald School are getting creative and exploring mathematics, puzzles and problem solving to build math-based escape rooms at their school this week.
Students are working with Mobile Escape Rooms on the planning, design, testing and construction of three different escape rooms. Grade 7, 8 and 9 students have been involved in the project, supported by a Classroom Improvement Fund grant and local businesses.
Media are invited to interview students about their projects and film the last day of construction before the escape rooms are open for parents and students to explore.
