CALGARY — The Calgary Grey Cup Committee will be visiting Vista Heights School to bring some football spirit to the school in advance of the big game on Sunday.
The committee will be at the school with a band, clowns and their mascot Charlie Horse. Also joining in the fun will be the Stampede Queen and Princesses, as well the First Nations Princess.
During the program, students will watch a traditional Indigenous dance and learn about the dancer's culture. The Queen and Princesses will also perform a line dance and teach a few steps to the students.
Media are invited to attend the event. There will be an opportunity to speak to select students, members of the Grey Cup Committee and other dignitaries in attendance.
