CALGARY — Students and staff at Western Canada High School are once again giving back to the community this holiday season with a variety of events to collect gifts and raise money in support of the Brenda Strafford Centre and Inn from the Cold.
This year students are joining with Husky Energy and their Husky has Heart campaign for the school’s seventh annual giving tree fundraiser. Decorated trees from the event, along with donated toys and gifts will be distributed to the two charities.
Media are invited to attend the judging of decorated trees during the lunch period on Thursday, Dec. 6.
