CALGARY – Media are invited to attend the Western Canada High School and Central Memorial High School all-candidate forum for the Calgary-Centre riding.
Grade 12 Social Studies students have invited candidates to participate in the forum. The students will be generating questions to pose to the candidates that will form the basis of this presentation.
These Grade 12 students are participating in a program called Student Vote 2019. Coinciding with the upcoming federal election, Student Vote 2019 enables students to learn about government and the electoral process, research the parties and platforms, discuss relevant issues and cast ballots for the official election candidates.
News media are invited to attend the forum, as well as interview students and candidates.
Date: Wednesday Oct. 2, 2019
