- David Thompson is a dual-track French immersion/regular program school. French immersion is for students from Gr. 5 to 9 while the regular program is for students from Gr. 7 to 9.
- The students are grouped into grade level teaching and learning communities to help meet the needs of our middle school students
- The school is fully networked and students have access to computers in classrooms and 2 computer labs.
- We have an involved School Council that encourages parent / guardian participation
