Message from the Board of Trustees
It has been an incredible year. Our students have shown excellence in each area that we as a Board measure: personal development, character and citizenship.
Every week we hear outstanding stories of our students contributing in their schools, their community and their world. We would like to thank each student and staff member who visited us in the board room and represented student voice for our system. You continue to inspire us. Have an excellent summer!
Budget 2017-18
The CBE budget for the next school year will be finalized and approved by Trustees by the end of June and then submitted to the Province.

Transportation Registration
Pre-registration for Transportation service for the 2017-18 school year is open until June 5.
Transportation pre-registrations can be completed using My CBE Account. To be included in the yellow school bus route planning for September, parents must pre-register by June 5. Any registrations received after that date will not be considered until route changes are done after Thanksgiving. The more registrations we receive by the deadline, the more efficient route planning will be for September.
Message from the Chief Superintendent
As we near the end of an outstanding year of teaching and learning, I want to express my appreciation to students for the significant effort and enthusiasm they have brought to their learning and to creating a positive environment in their school communities.
I also want to thank each employee for their commitment and dedication to student success, and for providing our city with an excellent public education system.
Parents also make very important contributions to their schools. That involvement and support is key to our children’s success, and I want to recognize and honour this partnership.
Finally, I want to thank the community for working with us in countless ways to support our students. Together, we have done great things. Our students have accomplished remarkable things in all areas of learning. Thank you for your continued support of public education.
Congratulations to all students and especially to our graduates. We wish you all the best for the future. I hope all of our families and staff have a wonderful summer.

Check out more than books at the Library
The CBE has a long-standing relationship with the Calgary Public Library. In 2014, all CBE students received a free library card. CPL offers a wide variety of resources and programming for students and families to access, both in person at a library branch and online.
