CBE Students to Participate in National Hackergal Hackathon

CALGARY — The Girls Coding Club at Alice Jamieson Girls Academy is busy preparing to take part in the 14th National Hackergal Hackathon event.

Media are invited to share the excitement on May 1 from 1-2:30 p.m., in this nationwide event where girls and gender-diverse learners are challenged to code an interactive project connected to a surprise social impact mission.  

Following a live stream event, students will take a deeper look into coding projects, presenting their work to attendees.

Students, teacher and learning specialists will be available for interviews and photographs. ​

Place: Alice Jamieson Girls Academy at Stanley Jones School, 950 6 St. N.E., Calgary​
