CBE Students Celebrate the Year of the Sheep

CALGARY — Kindergarten to Grade 4 Mandarin bilingual students at Highwood School will welcome in the Year of the Sheep with a special Chinese New Year performance at the Jubilee Auditorium on Jan. 21.

Media are invited to the celebration, which will include Chinese songs, culture-rich
performances, martial arts demonstrations and a traditional lion dance. This year’s production was done in collaboration with the Trickster Theatre group, who did a three-month residency with Highwood students. Students will be available for interviews and photos.
