Join us for the RAP/Skilled Trades Showcase

All junior and senior high students and their families are invited to take part in two events that showcase the skilled trades. The Calgary Board of Education and Careers: the Next Generation are pleased to host the second annual RAP/ Skilled Trades Showcase, to highlight the exciting opportunities that the trades have to offer.
 
Event Details:
 
Wednesday, February 18, 2015 from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. at James Fowler High School, 4004 4 Street N.W.
Wednesday, February 25, 2015 from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. at Lord Beaverbrook High School, 9019 Fairmount Dr. SE
 
These showcases will:
  • provide students with information about the skilled trades, related industries and the possibility of working in the trades
  • have experts share career and training-related information with high school and junior high school students
  • provide students and their families with an opportunity to network with employers, professional organizations/associations and post-secondary institutions directly related to the skilled trades
  • give students opportunities to submit applications from aspiring apprentices
