The CBE is engaging the public on the ranking the criteria for School Capital Planning Priorities. Over the next four months the public will have several opportunities to provide input and comment on the criteria to be considered when requesting new schools, major modernizations and modular classrooms from the Government of Alberta.
Focus Groups
On Monday, June 16, 2014, the focus group met for a second time to discuss the feedback received at the previous meeting. They are clarified feedback that can be considered and feedback that is difficult to consider.

On Tuesday, May 27, 2014 a focus group of nine stakeholders met to discuss the current criteria used for ranking new school construction and major modernizations. This group also discussed the current practice for allocation of modular classroom and talked about criteria that should be considered as we develop ranking criteria for submission of modular requests to the province in the future.
