Wildwood School Presented With Recycling Award

CALGARY –Wildwood School has been recognized for its outstanding contributions to waste reduction, recycling and resource conservation. The school will be presented with an R’s of Excellence Award by The Recycling Council of Alberta at a school assembly on Oct. 23.
The award recognizes the school’s environmental leadership and waste reduction efforts. One way the school has helped reduce waste at the school is through The Compost Crew, a student group that collects food scraps and paper towel throughout the school for composting.
Media are invited to the award presentation at the school.
