We are often asked for data on the amount of fees that are waived each year. All of this information can be found in each year’s financial results document, and the budgeted amount can be found in each year’s operating budget document.
We are now providing historical data below for easier access.
No child will be denied access to education or services because of an inability to pay fees. Parents may apply for fee waivers online or in person. Also, parents may declare a hardship to their principal and the principal may waive central fees or school-level fees.
Central fees include instructional supplies and materials, transportation and noon supervision (where necessary). School-level fees may include fees to cover the cost of off-site field trips or other school-based activities.
Data for the 2015-16 school year will be available by Nov. 30, 2016. The 2016-17 data will not be available until Nov. 30, 2017.
