Chinook Learning Services is the CBE's provider of High School Upgrading and non-credit Continuing Education (professional development, personal development & corporate training).
High School Upgrading
Students come to Chinook to:

Complete a high school diploma.
- Increase competitive average and / or deepen curricular understanding as a bridge to post-secondary.
- Upgrade to a higher academic stream.
- Learn in an inclusive, adult environment.
Students who are still eligible to attend their home high school are not permitted to register with Chinook Learning Services for fall or winter semesters.
New - Chinook Learning Services currently offers High School Upgrading courses at Forest Lawn, James Fowler, and Lord Shaughnessy High Schools. Beginning February 2026, all in-person High School Upgrading courses will be relocated downtown to 332 - 6 Ave SE, Calgary, AB (Bow Valley College). Continuing Education
Chinook has been a trusted name in Continuing Education for years, and now it's more relevant than ever. Our in-person Professional Development courses and Online Learning programs are designed to fit your busy lifestyle, whether you're looking to advance your career or explore new interests. Corporate Training is also available.
