Board Issues Update on Chief Superintendent Recruitment

The Board of Trustees is working through a plan to recruit a new chief superintendent following the resignation of Christopher Usih on May 1, 2023. ​

The Board has made the decision to engage the services of a recruitment firm to support a nationwide search for a new chief superintendent. The Board expects the recruitment process to take a minimum of four to six months, during which time the Board will conduct the search and interview candidates.

Chief Superintendent Usih will continue in his role until Aug. 24, 2023. An interim chief superintendent will be announced in the coming weeks who will serve in an acting capacity until the new chief superintendent is appointed.
