CALGARY — The Calgary Board of Education is busy preparing to welcome students for the first day of classes on Thursday, Aug. 29, 2024.

Media are invited to share the excitement of the first day with a photo and interview opportunity at Queen Elizabeth School (a K-6 school).

Principal Lisa McConnell, parents and students will be available for interviews outside of the building before their school day starts at ​8:30 a.m.
