CALGARY, A.B. – Two Calgary Board of Education (CBE) schools are celebrating their official openings this month. Prairie Sky School and North Trail High School opened their doors to students and staff in 2023 in the communities of Skyview Ranch and Harvest Hills. Official school opening celebrations mark an exciting milestone for the new schools and their communities. The events will feature speeches and student performances showcasing their work and school spirit. The traditional ringing of the school bell will also be included.
Prairie Sky School is a kindergarten to Grade 9 school that serves the Skyview Ranch community. It opened in April 2023.
North Trail High School is in Coventry Hills and serves the communities of Coventry Hills, Country Hills, Country Hills Village, Harvest Hills, Panorama Hills and Hidden Valley. North Trail High School opened in Sept. 2023.
News media are invited to attend the celebrations and school tours. Dignitaries, school principals and teachers will be available for interviews. All attendees will be available for photos.
