CBE Schools Raise $163,886 for Cancer Research

Apr. 16, 2021

It is during the most difficult of times that we see the human spirit shine. In 2020, schools in the Calgary Board of Education shone brightly, raising an incredible $163,886.64 for cancer research through participation in Terry Fox Runs.

In 1980, Terry Fox set out on a mission to transform his dream – to find a cure for cancer – into reality. This continued support has led to over $800 million dollars raised for cancer research in Terry’s name.

Congratulations to the following CBE schools that ranked in the top 50 fundraising schools in Alberta for the 2020 Terry Fox Run:

F. E. Osborne School
Vincent Massey School
Twelve Mile Coulee School
