As we near the end of an outstanding year of teaching and learning, I want to express my appreciation to students for the significant effort and enthusiasm they have brought to their learning and to creating a positive environment in their school communities.
I also want to thank each employee for their commitment and dedication to student success, and for providing our city with an excellent public education system.
Parents also make very important contributions to their schools. That involvement and support is key to our children’s success, and I want to recognize and honour this partnership.
Finally, I want to thank the community for working with us in countless ways to support our students. Together, we have done great things. Our students have accomplished remarkable things in all areas of learning. Thank you for your continued support of public education.
Congratulations to all students and especially to our graduates. We wish you all the best for the future. I hope all of our families and staff have a wonderful summer.
