The Alberta government has launched a public survey regarding a new code of professional conduct for teachers and teacher leaders. The survey is live on Alberta.ca, and teachers, teacher leaders, parents, students and all other Albertans are invited to respond.
The purpose of the survey is to collect feedback on the principles, values and behaviors that should be reflected in a new code of professional conduct for the teaching profession. A code of conduct is a set of expectations that certificated teachers and teachers leaders (e.g. principals and superintendents) must follow. Your input will help inform the development of a new code of professional conduct.
The survey will remain open until Oct.7.
