Congratulations, Class of 2023!

Jun. 15, 2023

On behalf of the Calgary Board of Education, I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to each and every one of you. Graduating from high school is a significant accomplishment, and you should all be incredibly proud of yourselves.

You have worked hard to reach this point, and I hope that you can take a moment to reflect on all that you have achieved. I encourage you to recall the lessons you have learned during your time with us because they will serve you well in whatever you choose to do next.

Moving on to the next stage of your life is exciting but it is also a time of change and transition, which can be challenging. You should continue to strive for excellence while also being mindful to take care of yourselves and those around you.

With this in mind, I also want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to the teachers, staff and families who have supported you throughout your academic journey. Your success is a reflection of the dedication and hard work of everyone involved in your education. You make all of us proud.

As a CBE graduate, you now have the power to shape your future and make a positive impact in your communities. Remember to embrace new challenges and opportunities with enthusiasm and determination. Life is full of twists and turns but — with hard work and perseverance — you can achieve great things.

Whether you are staying close to home or heading off to new adventures, please know that you will always be a part of our school community. We will be cheering you on every step of the way.

Once again, congratulations on your achievements and best of luck in all your future endeavours.

Sincerely,

Christopher Usih
Chief Superintendent
