Cole Oien and Roubert Dilidili of Western Canada High School have won the Sommet de Débats Canada 150, held in Edmonton on Nov. 18, 2017. Cole Oien also received the Top Speaker prize for the competition, and Western Canada's second advanced all the way to the tournament Semi-Finals. This is the largest French debate competition of its kind held in western Canada. In the final, Cole and Roubert successfully defended that NAFTA should be maintained against a talented team from Saskatchewan. We are very proud of our students' achievements, and proud to see our French Immersion students succeed in French language competitions!
