Your generosity ensures CBE students have the supplies they need in class and at home.
This year, the CBE is distributing thousands of backpacks filled with supplies to students in need at 70+ schools across Calgary thanks to the generosity of sponsors and donors.
The rising cost of living has impacted everyone in one way or another and many families are struggling with day-to-day expenses. We cannot expect students to be successful in school without access to essential school supplies. EducationMatters, CBE's trust, made a call out to the community to help ensure that students can come to school prepared to learn and feel part of the learning community, and Calgary donors and organizations stepped up to the task.
All donations made will provide a new backpack filled with new supplies to a deserving student. The supplies in the backpacks provide students with the tools that they need both at school and at home, so they can complete homework assignments or other special projects. It costs approximately $50 for a filled backpack and we've raised $150,000 through this campaign. Thank you so much Calgary!
